Unbeaten heavyweight Tyson Fury very confident in his ability dominated Andy Ruiz, who holds the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO world titles. Fury isn’t impressed with Ruiz, and he says he’d beat him with one hand tied behind his back. Fury believes that he would easily defeat Ruiz – if the fight came together.
“Listen, we never know what’s going to happen in life and I can never say no to anything. But one thing I will say is, I will let the fans decide, which hand I put behind my back and beat Ruiz with the other hand – because I only need one hand for him,” Fury told TMZ Sports.
Ruiz is scheduled to face Anthony Joshua in a rematch on December 7 in Saudi Arabia. That’s going to be a tough fight for Ruiz, and if he loses then won’t be any need for Fury to face him. Fury scheduled to return to action on September 14, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, when he faces unbeaten Sweden Otto Wallin. If Fury wins the fight, he’ll be facing Deontay Wilder in a rematch on February 22 in Las Vegas. The only way Fury and Ruiz wind up facing each other in 2020 is if they’re the last men standing.
